January 2, 2022 - NBA G League (G League)
Westchester Knicks News Release
TARRYTOWN, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, acquired Raven Lee from the Available Player Pool as announced by the team Sunday afternoon.
Lee, 6'3 175, has spent the past four seasons overseas with Dinamo of Super Liga (2017-18), Gigantes de Jalisco of CIBACOPA (2018-19), Laguneros de Torreon of LNBP (2019-20) and Tskhum-Abkhazeti of Super Liga (2020-21). He averaged 7.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists through 290 international games played.
The guard had a short stretch with the Santa Cruz Warriors and a transactional stint with the Windy City Bulls. Lee had a five-year career at Eastern Michigan (2012-17).
Shortly after the Winter Showcase, the NBA G League announced that its regular season, originally scheduled to tip off on Dec. 27, will begin on Jan. 5, 2022. The delay will give teams an opportunity to safely return players to market after the Christmas holiday and to replenish their rosters following NBA Call-Ups.
Information regarding games originally scheduled between Dec. 27 and Jan. 4 will be provided at a later date.
