Knackstedt Signs with Boston Bruins

The Moose Jaw Warriors announced today that 20 year old right winger Jordan Knackstedt has signed an entry level contract with the Boston Bruins Hockey Club. Knackstedt was the 7th round, 189th overall, pick of the Boston Bruins in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

The 6'2, 200lbs native of Saskatoon, SK joined the Warriors during the 2006-07 season from Red Deer and became on of the Tribe's main offensive powers. Last season he was the Warriors top scorer with 31 goals and 54 assists for 85 points and led the team in +/- with an impressive +25.

"Jordan demonstrated to the Bruins organization last season when he was called up that he is capable of playing at the pro level. From all reports, he had a strong NHL camp and continues to impress them while with the Province Bruins. We are very proud of him and want to wish him all the best, commented General Manager Chad Lang.

Jordan has had a positive impact both on and off the ice as a Warrior as well as ambassador of the city of Moose Jaw and to the game of hockey. Warriors' fans look forward to watching Jordan Knackstedt's hockey career continue to flourish.
