KMOX's Andy Strickland Joins Broadcast Team

The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League are proud to announce that Andy Strickland, sports reporter for KMOX-1120 AM, has joined the River Otters radio broadcast team. Strickland will serve as the color commentator for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs on KSLQ 104.5.

"I'm really excited about joining the River Otters broadcast team," said Strickland, who has covered the NHL extensively for KMOX. "I'm looking forward to being around the team for the rest of the season, and want to thank the River Otters for giving me this opportunity."

Strickland has worked as a sports reporter for KMOX since 1999, and in 2000-01 he served as the River Otters color commentator. He has also worked as a beat reporter covering the St. Louis Blues organization.

The River Otters next game is Wednesday, March 23 against the Kansas City Outlaws at the Family Arena. The puck drops at 7:05 CST, and all of the action can be heard on KSLQ 104.5 and the B2 Webcast and Videocast, both located at www.riverotters.com.
