Bombs Away - Kinston hit a season high four home runs as they took game two from the Dash, 8-1, to even up the series on Saturday night. Clayton Cook also struck out a season high nine in a season high seven innings for his team high sixth win.

Home Run Heroes - The four home runs on Saturday night in Winston-Salem was the most hit by a K-Tribe team in a game since last year's squad hit six in a 15-2 victory April 25th against Myrtle Beach at Historic Grainger Stadium. In that blowout, Kinston hit three runs in the seventh inning.

More Homer Talk - As a team Kinston hit just 12 home runs in their first 40 games of the season. In their last 14 games (Since May 21st) Kinston has crushed 15 home runs. Casey Frawley has led the way with five home runs in the two week span, followed by Adam Abraham with three bombs. Abraham and Frawley are tied for the team lead in home runs with seven. Kinston now has six multi-homer games on the season.

Playoff Push - With 16 games remaining in the first half the Indians are 3.5 games out of first place. The K-Tribe will head to Wilmington for four games, then take on the first place Pelicans this coming weekend at Historic Grainger Stadium.
