Kinston Indians News Release
Future Stars - The All-Star Futures Game was played Sunday night at Angel Stadium as a part of the Major League All-Star festivities, and there were three K-Tribe connections involved in the game. Kinston catcher Chen Chun of Taiwan played for the World team and went 0-for-2. Former K-Tribe third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall ('09), currently with Double A Akron played for the United States and went 0-for-1 with a walk and RBI. Former Indians manager Mike Sarbaugh ('06-'07), currently managing Triple A Columbus, was a coach for the US team, who won 9-1.
