
Kinnie named to UHL All Rookie Team

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals of the United Hockey League are proud to announce that right wing, Mike Kinnie was voted a member of the 2004-2005 U.H.L. All Rookie Team as announced by the league office earlier this afternoon.
Kinnie, a 22-year-old native of Shelby Township, Michigan was second among all UHL rookies in scoring with 81 points. (37g, 44a). He was 14th among all league scorers. Kinnie represented the Flint Generals in the 2005 U.H.L. All-Star Classic in Glens Falls, NY earlier this season.
Kinnie's efforts with the Generals earned him a late-season call up to the Rochester Americans (AHL) where he appeared in six games.
"We are very happy for Mike Kinnie to be recognized by the member teams in the United Hockey League," said Vice President & Head Coach, Robbie S. Nichols. "He had a tremendous season with the Generals and many people around the league took notice of his talent. He will continue to improve his skills and really has a great future in front of him. The Flint Generals congratulate Mike Kinnie, and all players named to the 2004-2005 All-Rookie Team."
