The Kings defeated Richmond 9-3 at Homer Stryker Field on Saturday. Darryl Blaze was 3-for-5 with two runs scored. Casey DeGroote was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Carlos Sepulveda was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored. The Kings outhit Richmond 11-7, and took advantage of eight walks allowed by the Roosters' pitching staff. Lee Naplin (3-1) pitched six innings and struck out five to earn the win. Justin Keeling (4K, 0BB) and Michael Leishman (2K, 1 BB) provided the relief. Kalamazoo and Richmond wrap up this three-game series on Sunday at 5:35.
