Kalamazoo Kings News Release
Kalamazoo Kings announced today the release of field manager Ed Stabile. Owner Bill Wright is making the change due to off-field issues surrounding the Kings' skipper. Catcher Mat Kent will serve as the team's interim field manager, pitcher Matt Sheets as interim pitching coach and pitcher David McWatters and outfielder Chris Carter as interim assistant coaches until the Frontier League All-Star Break, which begins on Tuesday, July 15.
