
Kings Assign Defenseman Jeff Schultz to Ontario Reign

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have assigned defenseman Jeff Schultz to the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
The 29-year-old Schultz (born Feb. 25, 1986) is a 6-6, 217-pound native of Calgary, Alberta appeared in the first game this season with the Kings, blocking two shots in 18:15 TOI.
Schultz has appeared in 409 regular-season games over nine seasons in the NHL with Washington and Los Angeles posting 76 points (11-65=76), a plus-78 rating and 137 penalty minutes.
