Friday, Oct. 23 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton: Military Appreciation Night dedicated to all active military and veterans. Military vehicles, a ceremonial puck drop, and special acknowledgments will be presented at the game.
Community Brief:
- Shriners Hospital for Children Radio-a-thon: Last week forward Domenic Monardo, defenseman Steven Delisle, broadcaster Andy Zilch and Screech visited the Springfield Shriners Hospital for Children for the annual Love to the Rescue Radio-a-thon. The 48-hour event raised money for the local hospital in conjunction with Mix 93.1 and NewsRadio560 WHYN.
- Ludlow Youth Hockey Learn-to-Skate: Screech also visited the Ludlow Youth Hockey program on Sunday to assist with their weekly learn-to-skate program.
