Kenosha Kingfish News Release
Kenosha, Wis. - Aided by a big offensive night by the Kingfish infielders, Paul Schuster picked up his first win of the year to beat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 7-1 Saturday night at Simmons Field.
Schuster entered the game looking for his first victory of the year. The righty from Southern Illinois-Edwardsville was the story of the game, dominating from first pitch. He threw six stellar innings of work, striking out five while allowing no runs. Schuster only allowed four base runners all night and his win helped move the Kingfish to 8-4 on the year, good for sole possession of first place in the Northwoods League South Division.

CF Jack Sundberg then singled home Gasbarro to make it a 3-0 Kingfish lead. After adding one in the third, the Kingfish scored three more runs in the fourth. 3B Alex Borglin singled with the bases loaded to drive in 2B Nick Sergakis and Gasbarro. DH Eric Filia later scored from third on an error. Overall on the night, Kingfish infielders had four hits with three runs and five RBIs.
