Duluth Huskies News Release
The Duluth Huskies (7-4) swept Eau Claire Express by beating them 9-7. The Huskies have now won 4 straight games.
Eau Claire scored the first run of the game in the 1st inning thanks to Tyler Jones scoring Daulton Varsho, but the Huskies came storming back in the second inning to score 3 unanswered runs, courtesy of an error which scored Jean Figueroa, Danny Lee scores Matt McLaughlin, and Alex Greene's sacrifice fly to score Jimmy Heck.
Duluth scored in the 3rd thanks to Jean Figueroa's bomb to center field and 4th but the Express made it a game by scoring 2 in the 5th and 1 in 6th. The Huskies pulled away in the 7th by adding 3 runs and 1 run in the 8th inning. Eau Claire scored 3 runs in the 9th inning to make it a 9-7 game.
