Killer Bees Reschedule Game Vs Allen

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, in conjunction with the Central Hockey League and Allen Americans, announced a make-up date for the postponed game that was scheduled to take place January 21, 2011. The Killer Bees and Americans will now meet Wednesday, February 23rd at the State Farm Arena. The puck will drop at 7:00 p.m.
The Killer Bees will honor all tickets from January 21st and will also sell additional tickets by calling 956-843-PUCK (7825) or visiting www.killerbeehockey.com. Fans are also encouraged to check the Killer Bees website for updated information on promotional events.
"We are very grateful for the support and understanding from our fans and sponsors. Obviously this was a situation that could not be controlled. Making the decision to postpone the game was a difficult one to make, but in the interest of player safety, the decision had to be made," continued Killer Bees General Manager Dan Belisle. "We'd like to commend the State Farm Arena staff for communicating with us and their diligent round-the-clock efforts to help restore the ice and assisting us with the rescheduling. Additionally, we want to thank the Allen Americans for their understanding and cooperation throughout this situation."
For fans that cannot attend the game on the rescheduled date they can receive a refund at the point of purchase. If the tickets were purchased directly through the Killer Bees organization they may also be exchanged for a different game.
The Killer Bees and Americans will play the game scheduled for Saturday night, January 22, at 7:30 p.m., as originally planned.
