Your Cedar Rapids Kernels return to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Tuesday, July 21st for a six game home stand. Here's a preview of what you can expect these next six games:

July 21-23 vs. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

The Kernels host the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers in a three game series starting Tuesday, July 21st.

Starting on Tuesday, the Kernels will have an ice cream special! Get a cup of ice cream for just $1, while supplies last, at the Ice Cream Stand and State Fair Cart at the stadium.

The home stand kicks off with Twins Tuesday, presented by Great Clips. Follow the Kernels email newsletter or Facebook page for a special coupon you can bring to the Kernels Ticket Office for a buy one ticket, get one free offer. The Kernels will be wearing special jerseys that will be sold during the game on September 5th and one lucky Kernels fan will win a pair of tickets to a Minnesota Twins game. Gates open at 5:30 PM and first pitch between the Kernels and Timber Rattlers is set for 6:35 PM.

It's our final noon game of the season on Wednesday, July 22nd, presented by 104.5 KDAT. Enjoy our noon game lunch combo special: a regular sandwich, chips or popcorn and a 16 oz. regular draft beer or 20 oz. bottled soda for just $8.50 at the concession stands. You'll want to be here when the gates open at 11:00 AM as Western Fraternal Life is passing out $500 to fans age 18 and older at the main gates as part of Free Money Wednesday with the top cash prize a crisp $100 bill. First pitch between the Kernels and Wisconsin is set for 12:05 PM.

Let's get ready to rumble! It WWE Night at the stadium on Thursday, July 23rd and professional wrestling legend, Jerry 'The King' Lawler, will make an appearance at the ballpark. Lawler will sign autographs on the concourse before and during the game. Three fans, age 18 and older, will win a 32" flat screen TV as part of Flat Screen Thursday, presented by First Federal Credit Union. Fans can register at the First Federal Credit Union table as the Kernels will draw for the TVs during the game and you must be present to win. It's also a Z 102.9 Thirsty Thursday - get 12 oz. regular draft beer and 20 oz. bottles of soda or water for just $2 all game. And, it's Little Caesar's College Night - show your college ID at the Kernels Ticket Office and get a Club ticket and two slices of Little Caesar's Pizza for just $8. Gates open at 5:30 PM and first pitch between the Kernels and Timber Rattlers is set for 6:35 PM.

July 24-26 vs. Beloit Snappers

The Kernels continue a six game home stand with three games against the Beloit Snappers, the Midwest League affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.

The Minions are taking over the stadium when the Kernels take on the Beloit Snappers at 6:35 PM on Friday, July 24th. The first 1,000 fans through the gates receive a free Minions Mask, and there will be Minions on the concourse to meet and greet fans as well as the Minion Tires from Boubin Tire in Manchester. It's also a 98.1 KHAK Kernels Friday Mug Club night. Buy a 16 oz. souvenir mug for $6 and get it filled at the concession stands with regular draft beer or soda. Refills are just $3 all night. Bring your mug back every Friday home Kernels game for $3 refills. Gates open at 5:30 PM. The Kernels will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act on Saturday, July 25th as part of ADA Night at the stadium. Then, after the game enjoy a spectacular FIREWORKS show, presented by Bank of the West. Fireworks nights are VERY popular, so order your tickets now online at www.kernels.com, or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at 896-7560. Gates open at 5:30 PM and first pitch between the Kernels and Snappers is set for 6:35 PM.

The home stand wraps up on Sunday, July 26th with Run the Bases Sunday, presented by Jimmy John's and media sponsor 104.5 KDAT. Fans can run the bases, play catch in the outfield and get autographs from the Kernels players on the field after the game. Play Travel Advisors Baseball Bingo for a chance to win a trip to Minneapolis and see a Twins game. Enjoy Papa Balloon and Magician Jackson Green on the concourse during the game. And, every Sunday home game, Goodwill is collecting donations at the main gates and fans that bring 10 or more donation items to a game receive a coupon for a buy one ticket, get one free offer to a future Sunday home Kernels game. The game will also be broadcast LIVE on KCRG 9.2! Gates open at 1:00 PM and first pitch between the Kernels and Beloit is set for 2:05 PM.

Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium Daily Specials!

Run the Bases Sunday, presented by Jimmy John's: After every Sunday home game, kids (and adults) can run the bases, play catch on the field and get autographs from the Kernels, sponsored by Jimmy John's with media sponsor 104.5 KDAT. Enjoy the balloon artistry of Papa Balloon, face painting by Kennedy and Magician Jackson Green on the main concourse during the game.

Travel Advisors Baseball Bingo: Every Sunday home Kernels game, play Travel Advisors Baseball Bingo, co-sponsored by the Radisson near Mall of America, for a chance to win a trip to Minneapolis and see a Twins game. Five winners are chosen each Sunday and the finals are Sunday, September 6th.

Goodwill Donation Sunday: At every Sunday home game, Goodwill will be collecting donations at the main gates. If a fan brings 10 or more donation items, they receive a coupon for a buy one ticket, get one free deal from Goodwill to a future Sunday Kernels home game.

Mark Down Monday: Regular hot dogs are $1.50, plus small popcorn, ice cream sandwiches, chips and Cracker Jacks are each $1 on Monday home games.

Twins Tuesday, presented by Great Clips: Get an on-line coupon from the Kernels Facebook page or email newsletter for a 2 for 1 ticket offer at Tuesday home games as part of Twins Tuesday, presented by Great Clips. The Kernels will wear special jerseys that will be sold via a silent auction at the September 5th game and one lucky fan will win a pair of Minnesota Twins tickets given away at every Tuesday home game.

Free Money Wednesday, presented by Western Fraternal Life: Western Fraternal Life will give away $500 at the main gates to fans age 18 and older at every Wednesday home game with $100 as the top cash prize.

Flat Screen Thursday, presented by First Federal Credit Union: Every Thursday home game, fans age 18 and older can sign up at the First Federal Credit Union table on the concourse to win one of three 32" flat screen TV's that will be given away during the game. You must be present to win.

Thirsty Thursday, sponsored by Z 102.9: 12 oz. regular draft beer, 20 oz. bottled soda and water are just $2.00 all game. Every Thursday home game is also Little Caesars College Night. Show your college ID at the Kernels Ticket Office for a Club ticket and two slices of Little Caesars Pizza for just $8.

Kernels Friday Mug Club, sponsored by 98.1 KHAK: Buy a 16 oz. souvenir mug filled with your favorite regular draft beer or soda for just $6.00 and get refills at the Kernels concessions stands for just $3.00. Bring the mug back to every Kernels Friday home game for those $3.00 refills.

Tickets for all Kernel home games are available on-line at www.kernels.com; in person at the Kernels Ticket Office, or by calling 896-7560 during Ticket Office Hours. The Kernels Ticket Office is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday. The ticket office is closed on Sunday, but opens at 11 AM on Kernel Sunday Home games.
