Kemp Signs AHL Contract With Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed defenseman T.J. Kemp to an American Hockey League contract, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Kemp, 25, has appeared in 50 games with the Monarchs this season under multiple professional tryout agreements. The 5-foot-11, 197-pound native of Pickering, Ontario, leads Manchester's blue-liners with 30 points (3-27=30) and his 27 assists are ranked first overall on the team. Kemp represented Team Canada at the 2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic in Toronto on January 28-29.
