Amerk Drew Larman returns from Florida

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that center Drew Larman has been reassigned to Rochester by the Florida Panthers.

The Buffalo native played in two games with the Panthers on this latest call-up. In his previous four stints with Florida, Larman collected a total of two goals in 13 games. He netted his first NHL goal on November 24th against Ottawa. With the Amerks, Larman has amassed 13 goals and five assists in 33 games.

On Friday, February 16th, the Amerks will take on the Manchester Monarchs at The Blue Cross Arena in their second and final meeting of the season. The game is the first ever visit to Rochester by the Monarchs. Manchester is currently one of the hottest teams in the American Hockey League, as they have won its last 12 contests and are 25-4-1 since December 3rd. Their 12 straight victories are the most by any AHL team in two seasons.

Fans can pick up $5.00 ticket vouchers for the game at all Rochester Tim Horton's locations. The 7:35 p.m. contest will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks. The game will also be televised live on Time Warner SportsNet Channel 26.
