
Kelowna wins over Vancouver

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Vancouver Giants 5-0 on Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, extending its home winning streak to 23.
Myles Bell scored twice and added an assist while goalie Jordon Cooke recorded his fifth shutout of the season in the win.
Dylen McKinlay, Ryan Olsen and MacKenzie Johnston also scored for the Rockets, who improved to 40-10-1-3 on the season.
The Rockets win moved them into sole possession of the third longest single-season home winning streak in Western Hockey League history and within one game of the Rockets franchise record home streak of 24 set in 1992-93.
Kelowna's next home games are next Friday and Saturday night's against the WHL's top team the Portland Winterhawks, also ranked number one in the CHL.
Prior to that the Rockets will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Spokane to play the Chiefs.
