
Kelowna Tops Everett 8-2

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Everett Silvertips in convincing fashion on Sunday, scoring an 8-2 win in Everett, following home ice wins on Friday and Saturday in Kelowna.
Carter Rigby scored three goals and Jackson Whistle earned the win in net as the Rockets outscored Everett to complete a perfect weekend improving to 15-8-1-1 on the season.
The Rockets led 2-1 after the first period and 4-1 after two before breaking the game open with a four goal third period.
Zach Franko, Ryan Olsen, Madison Bowey, Colton Heffley and Myles Bell scored for the Rockets, who outscoring its opponents 22-5 on the weekend after a 9-2 win over Saskatoon on Saturday and a 5-1 win over Regina Friday.
The Rockets will close out the month of November with two homes games this week as the club returns to Kelowna to meet Tri-City on Wednesday and Moose Jaw on Friday.
The Rockets have won three straight overall and eight straight at home.
