Teddy Bear Night / Sell out for Christmas Amalgamated

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club is looking to sell out Interior Savings Centre for Teddy Bear Night on Saturday, December 1st when the Blazers host the Moose Jaw Warriors. If the ISC reaches capacity, the Blazers will donate $1 from every ticket to the local Christmas Amalgamated charity.

The annual Zimmer Autosport Teddy Bear Night is a tradition going back to the 1993-94 season with the Blazers starting the tradition that has caught on across the CHL. Over almost 20 years, it is estimated that about 40,000 teddy bears have been collected and distributed in the community

Along with Teddy Bears, the Blazers will also accept toques, scarves or pairs of gloves that will be distributed locally.

The Blazers are expecting to have a large crowd for Zimmer Autosport Teddy Bear Night, but want to push it over the top this season! The goal is to achieve a capacity crowd of 5,464. If the Blazers reach capacity, they will donate $1 from every ticket sold to Christmas Amalgamated!

Earlier this season, the Blazers partnered up with Kamloops Safeway for the annual Breast Cancer fundraising night. The Blazers vowed to donate a $1 for every ticket sold, if the ISC reached capacity. The fans came through as 5,508 fans watched the Blazers beat the Brandon Wheat Kings 8-1 on October 26th.

As of 9:00am this morning, the Blazers have sold 3,381 tickets for Saturday night's game when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors.
