Kelowna Rockets News Release
The Kelowna Rockets are pleased to announce another donation to the Kelowna Community Food Bank stemming from the Detroit Red Wings stay in Kelowna.
Kelowna company West Coast Authentic has donated a further $750 to the food bank after holding a silent auction at the two Red Wings practices at Prospera Place in Kelowna this week.
Together with over $40,000 in food donations and $3,700 in cash donations from the public, the food bank has now received over $44,000 in food and cash directly as a result of the Red Wings trip to Kelowna.
"We're proud that we could be a part of something that has turned out so positive for the food bank," said Gavin Hamilton, Rockets VP of business development. "We'd like to thank all of our partners and the public who helped make this so successful."
