Little Falls, NJ - The Can-Am League's official statistician, PA-Sportsticker, has selected New Jersey Jackals third baseman Chris Kelly as the Teamline Direct Batter of the Week. Kelly batted .440 (11-for-25) in six games this past week hitting three home runs with nine RBI and nine runs scored. The Las Vegas, NV native collected four doubles to go along with a slugging percentage of 1.040 and a .440 on-base percentage. On the season, Kelly is hitting .337 with four home runs, 19 RBI and 15 runs scored. The former sixth round pick of the Chicago White Sox is first in the league in extra base hits (14), second in RBIs, tied for second in doubles (9), tied for third in hits (31) and home runs and fifth in slugging percentage at .587. Kelly continued his hot hitting with a 3-5 performance in last night's 9-5 loss against Atlantic City.

The Jackals and Surf continue their three-game series on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. with Ryan Pacyna taking the hill against Atlantic City left-hander Brian Rodaway.
