(OTTAWA, ON) June17, 2008 - On a rainy evening in Ottawa, the luck of the Irish did not benefit the Rpaidz on "St. Paddy's Day in June" as they fell to the Quebec Capitales 11-3 to even the series at one.

The two base runners were then driven home on a triple by Patrick Scalabrini to give the Capitales a 2-0 lead after one inning.
The Capitales continued their rally into the second inning. Josh Colafemina reached first on an infield single and then advanced home when Mike Goss hit the Capitales second triple of the game for a 3-0 lead after two.
Quebec scored again in the third, when Patrick Scalabrini hit his fourth homerun of the season and second extra-base hit of the evening for a 4-0 Quebec lead.
The Rapidz answered back in the bottom of the fourth. Jose de los Santos leadoff with a double, advanced to third on a bunt single by Juan Infante and was driven home after Jereme Milons singled.
In the bottom of the seventh the Rapidz scored two more runs off of Valdez. Escalona singled, advanced to second on a wild pitch and was driven home by Pete Pirman. Pirman was in turn sent home on a single by Jared Lemieux to cut the Capitales lead to 4-3 in front of 1,776 cheering fans at Rapidz Stadium.
Quebec added to their lead in the top of the eighth after Issael Gonzalez and Alex Nunez singled with two out and Gonzalez scored on a wild pitch from Dallas Strankman for a 5-3 Quebec lead.
