If you have purchased 'Pay for Play' tickets you can pick them up at the Stingrays front office, or there will be a special will-call table outside the handicap entrance on Monday prior to the game.

RED WAVE ALERT!!!
Attention Stingray fans, as the first home playoff game approaches, the South Carolina Stingrays are seeking everyone's help in creating the RED WAVE. We are asking that fans wear red to the games to show your support as the team embarks on its journey to the Kelly Cup. Break out your red jerseys, t-shirts and hats and anything else you can find and let's create a menacing atmosphere for any team that comes to play the Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum!
For those fans that don't have anything red, the Stingrays will be offering a special Kelly Cup Playoffs t-shirt at the merchandise stand during the games for only $12.00. Anyone who would like to pick up one of these shirts before the game can call Todd Merton at 744-2248 x1212 to preorder your shirt.

Second Season Sub-plots
The South Carolina Stingrays fell in overtime to the Augusta Lynx in game two of their five game series.
Stephen Werner made his return to the Stingrays line-up after playing with Springfield in the AHL, and scored the first goal of the game.
Marty Guerin and Travis Morin each scored their first playoff goals for the South Carolina Stingrays.

The Rest on the Quest
The Columbia Inferno pulled off the upset and swept the Florida Everblades at the Carolina Coliseum to make it to the next round. Also moving on were the Gwinnett Gladiators after they swept the Charlotte Checkers in Charlotte.
The Mississippi Sea Wolves lived to see another day, as they staved off elimination by defeating the Texas Wildcatters 4-3 in OT.
Outside the Southern Division, the Brabham Cup winners, the Cincinnati Cyclones, took a 2-0 lead over the Johnstown Chiefs in their best of seven series. Elmira is now tied up at a game a piece with the Reading Royals. Both Victoria and Stockton evened up their best of seven series at one game a piece, and Idaho now faces elimination as Alaska is up three games to none in their series.

Blast From the Past
The South Carolina Stingrays have won two Kelly Cup Championships in their history. Only four players were around to raise the Cup twice. Jared Bednar, head coach of the South Carolina Stingrays was one of them. The other three were Brett Marietti, Dave Seitz and the newest member of the Stingrays Hall of Fame Brad Dexter.
