Dwyer, Haskins Return From Bridgeport For Playoffs

Fresno, California - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced today that defenseman Jeff Dwyer and forward Tyler Haskins have returned to the team from the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The two players were listed on the Grizzlies playoff roster released Monday. Utah opens their first round best-of-seven series tonight at 6 p.m. in Fresno with the series continuing Monday at 8 p.m. from Save Mart Center.

The Grizzlies are a proud affiliate of the Sound Tigers and the NHL's New York Islanders.

Dwyer, played 17 playoff games in 2005-2006 with the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators before losing to the Alaska Aces in the Kelly Cup Finals. This year, he appeared in 56 games with Utah and 8 for the Sound Tigers.

Haskins, the Grizzlies fifth-leading scorer this season, tallied 16 goals and 27 assists for 43 points in just 41 games with Utah. He finished second on the team behind Ryan Kinasewich averaging just over a point-per-game.

Utah has now had seven players assigned from the Islanders organization in the last two weeks as they get ready for their second playoff run in three years.

The Grizzlies are scheduled to play at home in the postseason's first-round Wednesday, Friday and Saturday* with all games scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
