If you have purchased 'Pay for Play' tickets you can pick them up at the Stingrays front office, or there will be a special will-call table outside the handicap entrance on Monday prior to the game.

Attention Stingray fans, as the first home playoff game approaches, the South Carolina Stingrays are seeking everyone's help in creating the RED WAVE. We are asking that fans wear red to the games to show your support as the team embarks on its journey to the Kelly Cup. Break out your red jerseys, t-shirts and hats and anything else you can find and let's create a menacing atmosphere for any team that comes to play the Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum!
For those fans that don't have anything red, the Stingrays will be offering a special Kelly Cup Playoffs t-shirt at the merchandise stand during the games for only $12.00. Anyone who would like to pick up one of these shirts before the game can call Todd Merton at 744-2248 x1212 to preorder your shirt.

The South Carolina Stingrays look to tie up their best of five series with the Augusta Lynx tonight in Augusta, GA.
Stephen Werner will be joining the South Carolina Stingrays from the Springfield Falcons of the AHL.

The Rest on the Quest
Upset Alert: The Columbia Inferno have taken a 2-0 lead over the Florida Everblades after defeating them 3-1 last night.
Outside the Southern Division, the Brabham Cup winners, the Cincinnati Cyclones, took a 1-0 lead over the Johnstown Chiefs in their best of seven series. Elmira leads 1-0 over Reading after a 1-0 victory last night. And Stockton doubled up Las Vegas, 4-2, in the first game of their best of seven series.
Tonight, Columbia, Texas and Gwinnett can win their best of five series, as they each lead 2-0.

Blast From the Past
Exactly 19 years ago today, on April 12, 1989, the Carolina Thunderbirds defeated the Johnstown Chiefs 7-4 in game seven of the Riley Cup finals at the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown, PA. The win gave Carolina the first ever Riley Cup Championship. Carolina would go on to become the Wheeling Nailers.
