
Kayne Re-Joins Winston-Salem

Winston-Salem Dash News Release
SALEM, VA (JULY 16, 2010) - Today Winston-Salem's open roster spot was filled when IF Zach Kayne was promoted from low-A Kannapolis. There is no corresponding roster move at this time.
Kayne spent roughly two weeks on the Dash's roster over the final half of May, appearing in two games. He went 0 for 3 with a walk, starting the May 20 game against Myrtle Beach and appearing as a pinch hitter on June 2 at Potomac. In 24 games with Kannapolis this season, Kayne was batting .175 with two doubles, a triple, and seven RBI.
The Dash's roster has reached the Carolina League limit of 25 players.
Winston plays the third game of its four-game series with Salem today at 7:05 p.m.
The Dash returns to BB&T Ballpark on Thursday, July 22 for a series against the Potomac Nationals.
