DAVY ARNAUD PREVIEWS MLS ALL-STAR GAME

Video from Kansas City Wizards midfielder Davy Arnaud previewing the 2009 MLS All-Star Game is now available via the League FTP server. Arnaud was selected to his first career MLS All-Star team last week by Houston Dynamo and 2009 All-Star Head Coach Dominic Kinnear. Arnaud has traveled to Salt Lake City for the match after completing the CONCACAF Gold Cup with the United States.

The MLS All-Stars take on English Premier League club and FA Cup runner-up Everton FC and United States international goalkeeper Tim Howard this Wednesday, July 29 at 8:30 p.m. CT at Rio Tinto Stadium, home of Real Salt Lake. The match will be shown live on ESPN2 and Galavision. The Wizards will host a watch party for the match locally at Fox and Hound in Overland Park, sponsored by Budweiser. Arnaud, 29, enters Wednesday's All-Star match with five goals and one assist in 13 MLS games. Arnaud has been with the U.S. National Team since July 1, taking part in five of six CONCACAF Gold Cup matches and registering his first international goal and first international assist. Arnaud started the last four games for the United States, including the Gold Cup Final, as the Red, White and Blue finished runners-up in the regional tournament.

CLAUDIO LOPEZ UP FOR MLS GOAL OF THE WEEK:

Kansas City Wizards striker Claudio Lopez is nominated for the MLS Goal of the Week award for a highlight-reel strike from beyond the midfield stripe in Saturday's 1-1 tie with the Los Angeles Galaxy. Lopez scored the goal that he called one of the best of his career in front of a standing room only crowd of 11,906, the most people to ever view a match at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. WIZARDS, BUDWEISER HOST WATCH PARTY FOR MLS ALL-STAR GAME:

Wednesday, the Wizards will host a watch party courtesy of Budweiser at Fox and Hound in Overland Park for the MLS All-Star game versus Everton FC of the English Premier League. Everton features United States National Team and former MLS goalkeeper Tim Howard, one of the best goalkeepers in the world. The match kicks off from Real Salt Lake's Rio Tinto Stadium at 8:30 p.m. CT Wednesday. ESPN2 will broadcast the match in English, with Galavision broadcasting in Spanish.

ARNAUD, CONDRAD, USA WIN SILVER AT CONCACAF GOLD CUP:

Kansas City Wizards midfielder Davy Arnaud, defender Jimmy Conrad and the rest of the United States National Team finished in 2nd place at the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup less than one month after the USA finished 2nd at the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup in South Africa. Arnaud played in five of the six matches in the tournament, starting the final four games for the United States, including the final on Sunday. Arnaud registered his first international goal and first international assist in the tournament and now has seven career appearances for the United States. Conrad started two consecutive games, serving as the captain in both before exiting near halftime in the quarterfinal match against Panama after a concussion-inducing collision with forward Blas Perez. The United States next plays Aug. 12 against Mexico in a World Cup Qualifier at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

WIZARDS HOST CHICAGO FIRE, CUAUHTEMOC BLANCO AUG. 16

The Kansas City Wizards host the Chicago Fire Sunday, Aug. 16 at 2 p.m. CT at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Chicago, currently in 2nd in the Eastern Conference, features Mexico legend Cuauhtémoc Blanco, USA international Chris Rolfe and Gold Cup goalkeeper Jon Busch. The Wizards will host Public Safety Day, recognizing police officers, firefighters and EMT's for their service to the community. For tickets, visit www.Ticketmaster.com/kcwizards. MODIFIED JIMMY CONRAD SHOW AIRS FROM FOX AND HOUND IN OVERLAND PARK THIS MONTH:

The Jimmy Conrad Show, presented by Budweiser, will air Wednesday night on Sports Radio 810 WHB from 7-8 p.m. CT and simulcast online at kcwizards.com. The show will be broadcast live from Fox and Hound in Overland Park, Kan. during the month of July. With Conrad away for activities surrounding the MLS All-Star Game, Dave Borchardt and will continue to host the show. Borchardt and another Wizards player still TBD will discuss topics including the Wizards, the U.S. National Team and the MLS All-Star Game, which takes place 30 minutes after the Jimmy Conrad Show ends. In 2009, the Wizards will take registrations from fans at each edition of the Jimmy Conrad Show for month-end drawings. Prizes will include Field Side Reserved tickets, a clinic from a Wizards player, a Football/Futbol double-header package and a VIP Meet & Greet session after a training session. Each fan can enter that month's drawing each time they attend The Jimmy Conrad Show.

The Jimmy Conrad Show will be held at different bars throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. The show will run from 7-8 p.m. CT each week except for a small number of nights when the time will change due to programming conflicts on Sports Radio 810 WHB.

Wizards Head Coach Curt Onalfo joins Enrique Morales each Thursday at 5 p.m. CT for his weekly Spanish-language coach's show Zone Wizards on Ke Buena 1480 AM. This week, Spanish-speaking fans are encouraged to listen for a recap of last Saturday's match against the Los Angeles Galaxy and a look ahead at Saturday's contest against FC Dallas.
