
K-Wing Tickets on Sale

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce tickets for the teams entire 2002-2003 home schedule go on sale to the public tomorrow morning at 10 am.
The K-Wings will play 38 regular home games at Wings Stadium this season, including their home opener on Saturday, October 19th, against the Flint Generals. The game will coincide with K-Wings Fan Fest, which will be a festival the day of the game at Wings Stadium celebrating the new season, as well as the thanking all K-Wing fans.
Other marquee dates on the K-Wings home schedule include November 9th; on that night the K-Wings will host the defending Colonial Cup Champions the Muskegon Fury. Also visiting Wings Stadium that night will be the Los Angles Laker Girls, who will be giving performances between periods.
Fans can also celebrate the New Year with the K-Wings as COOL-FM and WWMT TV3 presents the K-Wings New Year's Bash on December 31st as the K-Wings host the Adirondack IceHawks. The IceHawks will also be part of another big event at Wings Stadium, as they will play the K-Wings on Pink Ice on Friday, February 14th.
One of the most historic traditions in hockey continues this season on Monday, March 17th, as the K-Wings host their biggest rivals the Fort Wayne Komets on Green Ice. This will be the 22nd season the K-Wings will play their traditional Green Ice game.
All K-Wings games both home and away can be heard on the "new" K-Wings Radio Network. The radio network is comprised of WLKM 95.9 FM (Three Rivers), WQSN 1660 AM (Kalamazoo), and WRCC 1400 AM (Battle Creek). Anchoring the K-Wings broadcast this season will be the "Voice of the K-Wings" Mike Modugno. With the creation of the radio network, the K-Wings will have the ability to reach 2 million listeners a night. Coverage of all games will start 15-minutes prior to face-off with the Basic Communications Pre-Show, and conclude with the Puck Masters Post Game Show.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $7-$12. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Box Office, or any Ticket Master outlet. The K-Wings also offer special pricing on tickets for groups of 15 people or more.
Start time of K-Wing home games are Monday-Thursday 7 pm, Friday-Saturday 7:30 pm, and Sunday 4 pm.
