K-Tribe Opens with a Bang on Friday

Kinston, NC -- The Kinston Indians open a three day weekend homestand against the Salem Avalanche on Friday. The weekend is packed with fireworks, giveaways, and fun promotions. Here is a look at what is going on at Grainger Stadium this weekend:

Friday, May 4 - 7:00pm - EMBARQ Night at Grainger Stadium. The first 1,000 fans will receive an EMBARQ/Kinston Indians mousepad as they enter the gate. It is also the Kinston Indians second post game fireworks show of the year. Come out and enjoy a great game capped off by one of the best fireworks shows in Eastern North Carolina!!

Saturday, May 5 - 7:00pm - Hampton Inn Team Photograph giveaway. The first 1000 fans that enter the game get a 2007 team photo. Tonight is also Girl Scout Night at Grainger Stadium. The K-Tribe invites Girl Scout troops across the area to come out and enjoy the game. Contact your local Girl Scout Council for tickets.

Sunday, May 6 - 2:00pm - Pepsi Family Fun Day, Little League Day, and ½ Price Church Day are all part of Sundays festivities. The K-Tribe invites all Little League and softball players out to the park. They get free admission if they wear their jerseys. Also, Sundays are Pepsi Family Fun Days. Come out early for the pre game autograph session when the gates open at 1:00pm and stay late for the post game kids run the bases.
