Kinston tries to match their longest win streak of the season with a win tonight at Frederick. Game time 7pm in Maryland.

Let's Go Streaking! - Kinston outfielder Tyler Holt is riding a 19 game consecutive on-base streak, the second longest in the Carolina League this year. Only Salem's Reynaldo Rodriguez with 21 has a longer streak. Holt is now eighth in the CL with a .295 average. He also is second in the league on obp (.405) and walks (24). He has boosted his average from .246 to .295 over the last 21 games.

Preston Impresses - The back end of the bullpen has been excellent as closer Preston Guilmet got his sixth save in as many opportunities on Tuesday. In thirteen appearances (14 2/3 ip) Guilmet has given up just eight hits, no runs and has not walked a batter yet this season. He has struck out 15 on the season.
