K-Tribe Homestand Begins This Friday

Kinston, NC - It is a weekend full of fun and unique events as the Kinston Indians welcome the Lynchburg Hillcats to Historic Grainger Stadium for a short three game homestand this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (June 12th - 14th).

For the first time in team history, the K-Tribe will be pretty in pink uniforms on Friday June 12th for "Pink in the Park" sponsored by Pitt County Memorial Hospital. The K-Tribe will be wearing one of a kind pink uniforms (see attached picture) which will be up for sale via silent auction during Friday night's game. Winners will be able to take the signed jerseys off of the backs of the K-Tribe players after the game. Beginning bids start at $100 and you must be present at Friday's game to bid on the jersey. All proceeds will go to PCMH cancer reach.

Friday is also Armed Services Day presented by Military Banking only at Bank of America. Military and their families get reserved seat tickets for just $2 each, plus $2 concession vouchers. Military vehicles will also be on display to help celebrate our heroes in uniform! Game time 7pm!

The fun rolls on as the Saturday night special features a baseball giveaway to the first 1,000 fans courtesy of our friends at Bojangles and WCTI-TV 12! It is also University of North Carolina night, where anyone wearing UNC gear gets in for half price! Saturday night is also Boy Scout night at the ballpark! Only General Admission tickets remain for this game that will be close to a sell out! Game time 7pm, gates open at 6pm!

The homestand ends with a Pepsi Family Fun Day at 2pm on Sunday, June 14th. Select K-Tribe players will be available for autographs before the game and kids get to run the bases after the afternoon game!

It's your last chance to see the Kinston Indians in the first half of the season as after the homestand the K-Tribe will not play another game at Historic Grainger Stadium until June 25th. Reserved seat tickets are just $4 for students, seniors and the military for every game at Historic Grainger Stadium. General Admission for the general public is just $5; reserved seats are only $6 all season long. Parking is always free.
