It is Christmas in July at Historic Grainger Stadium! Fans that bring a toy get in for half price. Santa is scheduled to throw out the first pitch. Game time 7pm!

‘Twas The Night Before Christmas...-And an early evening indeed. The game ended in two hours and 14 minutes, the shortest home game of the season for the K-Tribe. The quickest home game prior to yesterday also came against Wilmington, a two hour and 22 minute game on June 1st. The last six meetings between the two clubs have finished in less than two hours and 40 minutes. The average time of game for the team's first 15 minutes has now been brisk two hours and 37 minutes.

Deck The ‘Hall- Newport native Lonnie Chisenhall's homer last night was his16th long ball and 65th RBI of the season, tying him for second in home runs and second by himself in RBI in the Carolina League. It was just Chisenhall's fifth home run of the season at home though. The All-Star third baseman is also third in the league in hits (96), second in slugging (.500), and third in extra-base hits (41).
