
Justin Holiday Called up to Philadelphia 76ers

BOISE, Idaho, April 1, 2013 - The Philadelphia 76ers today signed Idaho Stampede guard Justin Holiday for the 31st GATORADE Call-Up of the 2012-13 NBA Development League season. He joins 122 players with NBA D-League experience currently on NBA rosters.
Holiday (6-6, 180, Washington) has appeared in 47 games for Idaho this season and is averaging 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.2 blocks and a league-leading 2.4 steals per game. He has scored at least 30 points in five games, including a season-high 38 points on 14-of-21 shooting in a 114-107 victory over Reno on March 7.
Holiday will join his younger brother Jrue, an NBA All-Star this season, in Philadelphia. Justin Holiday played for the Sixers' summer league team last year. Holiday is expected to join the 76ers today and be available when the team travels to Charlotte to take on the Bobcats on Wednesday at Time Warner Cable Arena.
Holiday becomes the 22nd player to be called up as a member of the Stampede, joining the ranks of players like Mikki Moore, Anthony Tolliver, Sundiata Gaines, Coby Karl, Randy Livingston and Damon Jones.
