
Rockets Recall Jones from Rio Grande Valley

HOUSTON - Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that the team has recalled forward Terrence Jones from Houston's single-affiliation NBA D-League partner Rio Grande Valley. Jones rejoins the Rockets after helping the Vipers climb to the top of the D-League's Central Division with a 33-15 mark.
Jones (6-9, 252, Kentucky), who was re-assigned to the Vipers on Mar. 21, has averaged 19.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 24 games (15 starts) with Rio Grande Valley. At the time of his recall, Jones stood seventh in the D-League in scoring average (19.0) and seventh in the league in rebounds per game (9.0). Named a 2013 NBA D-League All-Star, Jones has averaged 3.1 points and 1.6 rebounds in 11 outings of his rookie campaign with the Rockets.
