
Bighorns Lose Big to Bakersfield

Reno, Nev., April 1, 2013 - The Reno Bighorns (15-32) lost to the Bakersfield Jam (34-14) 124-94 on Monday night.
The Jam's hot shooting from the three-point line doomed the Bighorns. The Jam shot 56% from behind the arc, going 14-25. Bakersfield also shot 54.7% from the field, going 47-86.
The Bighorns were led by Samardo Samuels' 26 points and 12 rebounds. Desmon Farmer added 19 points. Mo Charlo chipped in 14 points.
Brian Butch had 27 points and 18 rebounds to pace the Jam. Damion James had 26 points and Shan Foster added 22, coming off the bench.
The Bighorns play again on Tuesday night, facing off against the Santa Cruz Warriors at 7 p.m.
