Coleman (5-10, 185, Mississippi '01, DOB: Oct. 24, 1978 in Columbus, GA) comes to Winnipeg after most recently playing for the Cincinnati Swarm of the Arena2 Football League.

"Justin has good speed and can cover receivers very well," said Brendan Taman, general manager & vice-president of football operations for the Blue Bombers. "He doesn't allow big plays and he can tackle well in the open field."

THE AFL2 YEARS – CINCINNATI SWARM

Coleman was the defensive specialist for the Cincinnati Swarm in 2003. Playing in eight games, he recorded 27 tackles, eight pass knockdowns and two interceptions. He won one of the Swarm's game Most Valuable Player Awards that season.

While at Ole Miss, Coleman also competed in track-and-field as a member of the school's 4 x 100-metre relay team.
