SEA DOGS LEAD THE ORGANIZATION - Out of the entire Red Sox organization, the Sea Dogs rank the highest in batting average (.266), hits (251) and on-base percentage (.342). They also have the least amount of strikeouts (215) yet this year.

MOST HITS IN DOUBLE-A - The Sea Dogs lead all teams in Double-A with hits (251) so far this season. The Chattanooga Lookouts are second in Double-A with 249 hits. Portland also ranks third in runs (148) and batting average (.266).

NEW FACES - Ricardo Cubillan and Oscar Rangel each came in late in the ballgame last night as substitutions then had their first at-bats in the 2021 season for Portland. Cubillan went 0-1 with a strikeout when he replaced Jeisson Rosario. Rangel came in for Ronaldo Hernadnez and went 0-1, also with a strikeout.

AVOID THE SHUTOUT - With his fifth home run of the season, Joey Meneses homered to ensure the Sea Dogs avoided the shutout last night in Harrisburg. The Sea Dogs have not been shutout in the 2021 season.

STILL 2.0 GAMES OUT - Despite the loss last night, the Portland Sea Dogs remain 2.0 games out of first place behind the Somerset Patriots (18-8). The Patriots are currently taking on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Delta Dental Stadium in New Hamsphire. The Patriots and Sea Dogs do not meet for the first time until June 22nd.

ON THE MOUND - Denyi Reyes makes his second start of the season tonight and his first time facing Harrisburg in 2021. Reyes last pitched 5/30 against the Hartford Yard Goats. He tossed 5.0 shutout innings allowing four hits while walking one and striking out two. The 5.0 innings was his longest outing this season.
