The Mudcats turn to RHP Brandon Barker tonight as they look to finish a three game road sweep of the Keys in Frederick tonight at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium. Barker is currently 2-1 with a 2.86 ERA over four starts with the Mudcats this season. He last pitched on 6/12 at Five County against the Dash and earned his second win of the season after holding Winston-Salem to just two runs on four hits over six innings pitched. He walked three in the first and gave up two first inning Winston-Salem runs, but the Mudcats answered back with three in the third to take the lead and never looked back as they won the game 8-2. Barker has turned in quality starts in two of his last three starts since returning to Carolina earlier this month. He started the 2015 season in Rome with the Braves and was 2-3 with a 4.30 ERA over six games and six starts with Class A Rome before his original assignment to Carolina on 5/14.
Tonight's game begins at 7:00 p.m. at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium and will air on the Mudcats Radio Network with the pre game show beginning at 6:45 p.m.
