Red, White and Byrd!!!

They're back at it again! Join the Power as they roll into the second half of the 2009 season with even more excitement. It is time to kick off the holiday season homestand and make it an on going celebration. Make sure to come out Saturday for our Fourth of July Celebration where festivities include a commemorative Senator Robert C. Byrd figurine giveaway. Arrive early because only the first one thousand fans through the gates will receive this giveaway. Also, stick around after the game for our fireworks extravaganza! Saturday's game is set to start at 7:05 pm and the gates will open at 6:00 pm.

Celebrations, Appearances and More

The celebration continues as we carry on with this jammed packed holiday homestand. Hop on over to Appalachian Power Park as we celebrate Easter Sunday. The hunt is on! Kids, stop by the nTelos Fan Assistance Center to participate in our Easter egg hunt. Also, the Power will be recognizing the Nitro/Cross Lanes communities. Sundays game will begin at 5:05pm, gates open at 4pm.

Join us Monday at 7:05pm for the return of Crunk Day with Woody Woods presented by 98.7 The Beat featuring Kids Eat Free courtesy of Buzz Food Service, Flowers Bakery, Frito Lay and Pepsi. It is also an evening filled with love as we celebrate Valentine's Day, so don't forget to bring your sweetheart to the ballpark.

Tuesday night jets into a Mardi Gras festival with a Fat-Two-For-Tuesday celebration presented by 96.1 The Wolf featuring two for the price of one fountain drinks and draft beers.

The fun is not over yet, the Power will be celebrating a ballpark Thanksgiving, Wednesday beginning at 7:05pm. Join us as we spread thanks to all those throughout the stadium and recognize Kanawha City Community Day.

Buck Night & A Chance To Win A Cruise

Erin Go Bragh!!! Join us Thursday as the Power celebrates St. Patrick's Day. The festivities will include our famous Buck Night presented by 107.3 WKAZ-FM featuring Throwdown Thursdays. Make sure to come to this Irish celebration where admission, hot dogs and beverages are only a buck. We will also be featuring $2 16oz cans of Yuengling, Bud, Bud Light & more. Game time is set for 7:05pm and gates will open at 6:00pm.

Plus, don't forget every Thursday features the Bud Light Port Paradise Party. Sign-up for the weekly cornhole tournament where eight lucky contestants will qualify to come back to Appalachian Power Park for a chance to win an all expense paid, four day, three night cruise to the Caribbean. Purple Power Night

Join us Friday for Purple Power Night as we raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. The night will also feature two separate auctions. The first auction will take place throughout the game for a chance to win an autographed Purple Power Jersey. There will also be a live post-game auction for the opportunity to bid on jerseys off the backs of your favorite Power players. All proceeds will go towards raising awareness of Pancreatic Cancer. Friday is also Halloween Night with post game trick-or-treat for kids in costume.

He lives in a pineapple under the sea.... Nickelodon's favorite sea creature, Spongebob Squarepants will be making a stop at the ballpark courtesy of Suddenlink. Bring your camera because you will have the opportunity to take your picture will Spongebob himself. There will also be an appearance and autograph session by NFL and former Marshall University football player, Jason Radar.

We will wrap up the night with the Ford Friday Night Fireworks presented by V100. So be sure to dress up in purple or your scariest costume and join the fun that is set to begin at 7:05pm with gates opening at 6:00pm.

Go Green This Saturday

Saturday is West Virginia Grown Night presented by the WV Department of Agriculture featuring a Go Green Bag giveaway to the first one thousand fan through the gates. Make sure to come out early to grab your free bag and continue to reduce, reuse and recycle.

HO!HO!HO! Merry Christmas! A holiday season would not be complete without a little Christmas cheer. Join the Power for Christmas in July as the holiday homestand comes to an end. Kids, make sure you are good this holiday season because there will be a special appearance by Santa Claus, and he will know who has been naughty and nice.

Saturday is also Girl Scout Night and we will be recognizing Girl Scout troops from the surrounding areas. So if you haven't signed up for the game or the post-game campout please call 304-344-BATS. Saturday evenings game will begin at 7:05pm.
