Tacoma Rainiers News Release
The Rainiers return to Tacoma tonight to begin a four game homestand against Portland that concludes with the largest fireworks show of the year on Thursday, July 3. Tacoma is in search of some home cooking after losing three close games in Edmonton so come out to support the team!
Tonight's first pitch is at 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Ken Cloude is scheduled to pitch for Tacoma against Portland's Clay Condrey. As with all Monday night games, it is Domino's Medium Pizza Madness tonight. If Tacoma scores ten or more runs all fans in attendance will receive a coupon good for a free medium pizza from Domino's.
TUESDAY is Chevron Carload Tuesday. Fill up your tank with 8 or more gallons at a participating Chevron and you will receive a voucher to get your entire carload into the game for FREE! Game time is 7:05 p.m. and gates open at 5:30 p.m.
On WEDNESDAY, July 2 Tacoma hosts an afternoon game against Portland. Game time is 12:35 p.m. with gates into the stadium opening at 11:30 a.m. This is a great chance to enjoy a nice afternoon of baseball.
Then the brief homestand wraps up on THURSDAY, JULY 3 with our annual FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA brought to you by Pepsi. This fireworks display is TWICE the size of our usual Friday Night Fireworks shows so it is one not to be missed. There will also be parachuters dropping into the stadium prior to the game so come out early. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. for this 7:05 p.m. game. Seats are still available for this game but they are going fast so try to get them before game time. Adult tickets for this game are all $10 each. Children, seniors and military each receive a $1 discount off of that price.
After games in Salt Lake and Portland, Tacoma returns to town next week on Thursday, July 10 for another four game homestand. Included in that homestand are more fireworks on the 11th, Lunch Bag Cooler Night sponsored by Columbia Bank on the 12th and both Dog Days and Baby Ruth Souvenir Baseball day on Sunday, July 13.
Tickets for any game can be purchased in person at the stadium or over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard. The ticket office phone number is 253-752-7700. Additional information can also be found at our website: www.tacomarainiers.com.
