The Colorado Springs Sky Sox dropped the final game of the series with the Oklahoma RedHawks 5-3, at Sky Sox Stadium Sunday afternoon. Sox starter Cory Vance had a shaky start yielding 5 earned runs through 7 innings. The offense managed 3 runs in the third inning, but could not cash in on opportunities later in the game. Luke Allen managed 2 hits to lead the offense. Next up is a 4 game series with the Iowa Cubs beginning Monday evening as the Sox will send Randy Flores (6-5, 4.44) to the hill against Steve Smyth (3-5, 5.43) of Iowa.
