
Juan Graterol Promoted to Triple-A Omaha

SPRINGDALE, Ark. - The Kansas City Royals announced the promotion of catcher/first baseman Juan Graterol to the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers on Friday, July 11. In a corresponding move, Max Ramirez has been activated from the seven-day disabled list.
Graterol began the 2014 campaign with Northwest Arkansas for the second straight year. He earns his first promotion above Double-A after batting .266 in 50 games for the Naturals this season.
Ramirez returns to a .250/.330/.369 slash line with the Naturals to go along with 2 home runs and 10 RBI in 24 games. Ramirez has been out since June 29 with a right hip strain.
Northwest Arkansas has two more games remaining on their four game road trip at Springfield, concluding Saturday night.
