
Josef Martínez and Ronald Hernández called up to Venezuela national team for Copa América 2021

ATLANTA - Josef Martínez and Ronald Hernández have been called up to the Venezuela national team by manager José Peseiro for the 2021 Copa América. Venezuela will compete in Group B and face Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
Martínez has made 53 career appearances for Venezuela and recorded 11 goals and three assists, including five goals in 21 World Cup Qualifying matches.
Hernández has made 17 appearances for Venezuela. Both players also featured during the 2019 Copa América, where Venezuela finished second in Group A and made it to the quarterfinals. Martínez also competed in the 2016 Copa América Centenario and the 2015 Copa América.
