Colorado Springs, CO- The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC Defender Jordan Burt was named to the USL Team of the Week, the league announced today. Burt scored a brace in the Switchbacks' 3-3 draw with Reno 1868 FC on Saturday Night.

Burt notched his first goal in the 57th minute to draw level against Reno 1868 on a headed goal. After Reno re-took the lead, Burt tied it up in the 85th minute on another headed goal.

The Switchbacks will face Energy FC at Weidner Field on May 31st at 7:00 P.Min the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Tickets start at just $5 and are available here.

The Switchbacks will return to league play Saturday, June 3rd at Weidner Field against Energy FC at 6:00 P.M for Galactic Night. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a light-up saber courtesy of Penrose-St. Francis Pediatric ER. Fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite characters in the galaxy!
