FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI, OH --- FC Cincinnati fans will be able to watch the match vs. Louisville City FC on fccincinnati.com thanks to support from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers signing on as the broadcast sponsor. FCC hosts Louisville City FC tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. at Nippert Stadium with the winner advancing to host MLS side, Columbus Crew, Wed., June 14.
"We are extremely appreciative to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers for stepping in to make this game available for fans who are unable to join us at Nippert Stadium," said FCC President and General Manager, Jeff Berding. "With only a week to get the necessary components in place for our second-round match against AFC Cleveland, we were unable to show that match online. However, having the extra week for the third round was essential to putting together a broadcast plan in line with the quality our fans have become accustomed to when watching a home FCC match."
The stream will be available for free with Tom Gelehrter, FCC's play-by-play announcer, calling the action. He will be joined by Erik Alanson, a former Xavier men's soccer player, who is now an assistant professor at UC.
FCC and Louisville are 1-1-2 in the series and played to a 1-1 tie in April to start off the 2017 edition of the River Cities Cup. Aodhan Quinn had the goal in the 78th minute for FCC, countering Brian Ownby's goal in the 20th minute.
