UPCOMING

FC Cincinnati plays twice this week and will have their third run of three games in eight days when the team hosts Louisville City FC Wed., May 31 at 7:00 p.m. in U.S. Open Cup action.

The winner of the FCC-LCFC match will host Crew SC on Wed., June 14.

FCC then jumps back into USL play this Sat., (Jun. 3) at Rochester Rhinos for a 6:00 p.m. contest.

FCC is on a three-game win streak, out-scoring the opposition 4-1.

The team carries a 3-1-1 record for the month of May with one game remaining in the month.

FCC continues to climb steadily in the standings and now sits fourth in the Eastern Conference with 15 points.

Charleston Battery, Tampa Bay Rowdies and Louisville City hold the first three spots in the standings, respectively.

FCC TO STREAM U.S. OPEN CUP MATCH

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers will be the presenting sponsor of FCC's stream of tomorrow night's match which will be available at fccincinnati.com

Tom Gelehrter will call the action with Erik Alanson, former Xavier soccer player, stepping in this week to provide color analysis.

POLAK ASSIST, KEY STOP RECOGNIZED BY USL

Tyler Polak was named to the USL Team of the Week after posting his first assist of the season.

Polak, who logged two assists in 2016, found König with a cross from the left flank in the 18th minute.

He also had a critical goal-line clearance that prevented Toronto FC II from scoring the tying goal.

It is the second time Polak has been honored on the USL Team of the Week.

K=D6NIG DOES IT AGAIN

Danni König scored in his second consecutive game, putting away the game-winner against Toronto FC II last Sat.

The Danish forward is second on the team with three goals and has played in three matches with FCC.

HILDEBRANDT LOGS THIRD SHUTOUT

Mitch Hildebrandt anchored the defense to their third shutout in USL matches.

Hildebrandt had two saves in the winning effort and is fourth among the USL leaders with 28 saves.

FCC is tied for seventh in USL matches in clean sheets.

DJIBY TO MAKE ENCORE U.S. OPEN CUP APPEARANCE

Djiby will make his return to the pitch this Wed. against Louisville City FC.

Djiby put away the game-winning goal against AFC Cleveland in the second overtime period.

He leads the team with eight goals and will be eligible to resume USL play Jun. 10 against Charlotte Independence.

WALKER TO DRESS WEDNESDAY

Kenney Walker, who had been nursing a knee contusion, is expected to suit up Wed.

Walker has missed the last five matches, last playing on Apr. 29 at Bethlehem Steel FC.

He has started in seven matches for FCC.

FAN SHOW TO MOVE TO NIPPERT STADIUM

The Toyota FC Cincinnati Fan Show will be broadcast from Nippert Stadium this Wed., May 31 instead of from its usual location, the Moerlein Lager House, due to FCC's match U.S. Open Cup Match.

Mo Egger and Tommy Gelehrter will host the show from the broadcast booth and will speak to Head Coach Alan Koch as well as select FCC players. The broadcast will be aired on ESPN1530.
