Montreal Alouettes News Release

Montreal, May 28, 2009 - The Montreal Alouettes cheerleaders are excited to offer a new program for the 2009 season to young girls, aged 5 to 17, who love to dance and perform in front of a crowd!

Following many requests from girls who want to learn from the pros in a fun environment, the cheerleaders will take three groups (5-9 years old, 10-14 and 15-17) for three training sessions leading up to Alouettes' home pre-season game on June 23. That day, the groups will perform their routines at half-time in front of a packed house at Montreal's Percival Molson Stadium.

This program is open to all girls aged 5-17, and the Alouettes will offer 25 places to girls from disadvantaged backgrounds. Please contact Annie Larouche for more information at alarouche@montrealalouettes.com.

Participants will receive a pair of tickets to the game, a Mini-Alouettes t-shirt, shorts and of course... a pair of pompoms!

Rehearsals

The June 13, 14 and 20 rehearsals will be held at École secondaire Antoine-de-St-Exupéry, 5150 Boulevard Robert, in St-Léonard. There will be a final on-field rehearsal on game day, starting at 3 p.m. at Percival Molson Stadium.

Call 514-871-2255 to sign up now!

Cost is $100 plus tax per participant; places are limited.
