
Johnson Called up to Monarchs

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announced that right wing Chaz Johnson has been loaned to the AHL's Manchester Monarchs.
Johnson, 27, has appeared in 61 games with the Reign this season. The right winger's 22 goals scored currently rank first on the team and he splits a tie for second-most points scored with 36. Johnson spent the last three seasons (2007-2010) with the Elmira Jackals (ECHL), recording 82 points (38g, 44a) and 407 penalty minutes in 117 games. He was called up to the Binghamton Senators (AHL) for 48 games in that period and had six points (1g, 5a) and 55 penalty minutes with the club.
