Going up, Goepfert Had Back to Charlotte

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that goaltender Bobby Goepfert has been recalled to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.

The call-up for Goepfert (pronounced: GEF-ert) continues a wild week for the 27-year-old. After being recalled to Charlotte on Monday, he backed up for the Checkers' 5-2 loss to Adirondack on Tuesday night. Wednesday morning Goepfert was reassigned to the Everblades and started for the Blades in their 3-1 loss to Wheeling at Germain Arena.

The call-up is his third to Charlotte this season, although he has not see any action in his previous visits to the Checkers. In 42 games with the Everblades this season the Kings Park, New York native is 23-13-3 with a 2.74 GAA.
