Johansen, Suns Top BlueClaws 10-1 on Tuesday Night

HAGERSTOWN, MD - Jake Johansen gave up one run on five hits in 6.2 innings, the longest outing of his career, as Hagerstown blew open a 2-1 game with eight late runs in knocking off the BlueClaws 10-1 on Tuesday night at Municipal Stadium.

A 2-1 game going to the bottom of the 6th inning, Hagerstown (13-7/57-33) scored three runs in the 6th and five more in the 7th for the final margin.

Lakewood (6-14/33-56) falls to 1-4 on their six-game road trip, which finishes on Wednesday, and they are a season-high 23-games under .500.

Hagerstown took the lead in first inning on a groundout by Spencer Kieboom and added a run in the third on a SAC fly by Wilmer Difo.

The BlueClaws got their lone run of Johansen in the 4th inning on an RBI double by Zach Green. Green drove in Andrew Knapp - each player had two hits in the loss.

Hagerstown scored three runs in the sixth inning off Viza, scoring on a ground-out by Drew Ward, a wild pitch, and a throwing error. Viza (3-12) came out after six and gave up five runs/three earned, though he took his minor league-leading 12th loss of the season.

Chris O'Hare relieved Viza in the 7th and allowed five runs in his lone inning of work, including RBI singles by both Ward and Spencer Kieboom.

Green and Knapp had four of the six hits for Lakewood, with Larry Greene Jr. and Willians Astudillo adding the other two.

The series concludes on Wednesday morning at 10:35 am. RHP Jesen Therrien (2-0) throws for Lakewood against LHP Brett Mooneyham (1-0).
